Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Eric Mithen, our new School Counseling Intern at La Conner Elementary School for the 2026–27 school year!

Eric joins us after completing two years of study at Seattle University and is excited to support our students, families, and school community with compassion and humility. Before beginning his journey into school counseling, Eric worked as a special education paraeducator at Anacortes Middle School and as a military student advisor in Oak Harbor.

Eric and his spouse moved from the East Coast to La Conner in 2009, where they welcomed identical twin sons. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his family and walking in the woods with his camera.
