The Kiwanis Club of La Conner is proud to recognize our outstanding December Students of the Month from across the district!
High School Student of the Month
Rachel Bill, a senior at La Conner High School, is being honored for December. Rachel enjoys her guitar class and hopes to continue playing in the future. She attends the Northwest Career & Technical Academy half days and is a three-sport athlete, participating in soccer, basketball, and softball—her favorite!
Middle School Student of the Month
Rory Bird, an 8th grader at La Conner Middle School, loves math and is actively involved in volleyball and yearbook. She received the volleyball sportsmanship award this year and plans to attend college to pursue a career as a pediatrician or psychologist.
Elementary Student of the Month
Gabriel Sikes, a 5th grader at La Conner Elementary School, enjoys math, science, and reading. He is known for being helpful around school and recently assisted with packing food bags for fellow students. Gabriel is interested in technology and hopes to attend a tech school to learn more about computers in the future.
Congratulations to Rachel, Rory, and Gabriel! We are so proud of you and grateful to the Kiwanis Club for supporting and celebrating our students.
