Corran, joined by his high school coach, Galen McKnight, and his future Skagit Valley College golf coach, Daniel Graber, his parents, and classmates, marked this exciting milestone surrounded by those who have supported him throughout his journey.
This year, Corran won the District Title in a thrilling playoff at Loomis Trails Golf Course in Blaine, defeating the previous year’s state champion. He followed that with a strong fourth-place finish at Tri-Districts at Battle Creek in Tulalip and capped off his high school golf career by placing in the top half of the Washington State 2B Boys’ Golf Championship Tournament at Liberty Lake near Spokane, climbing four spots in the final round!
A true three-sport standout, competing in soccer, basketball, and golf, Corran’s senior year has been one of dedication, growth, and exceptional athletic achievement. The La Conner School Board, a testament to the lasting impact he has made on and off the course, recognized his accomplishments on Monday.
We are excited to watch Corran continue his athletic and academic journey at Skagit Valley College. Go Cardinals… and as always, Go Braves!
