Josie Adams (Junior) and Lydia Grossglass (Junior) are a team that created an excellent Spanakopita Mac & Cheese, and an equally nice mock-tail.
Johnathan Gonzalez (Junior) was on a different culinary team, and Victoria Morales (senior) was there in a business-class capacity, welcoming and directing guests. Victoria joined other NCTA students to sell
Kitchen Wars and NCTA merchandise while managing the event.
Lydia describes their creation to Ms. Clothier and Josie (background) is being interviewed by the Skagit Valley Herald. Teams consist of students mixed in from all valley schools. Those eating and judging pay to participate. Some 10-12 teams from NCTA were competing in this well-run, fun, and filling event!
