Todd Torgeson has been selected as the new secondary principal beginning with the 2017-2018 school year. He was selected (pending board approval) by current and incoming Superintendents, Peg Seeling and Whitney Meissner after reviewing feedback information from students, staff and community forums Thursday evening. Torgeson was the clear favorite with all groups.
Todd Torgeson has 24 years of experience in education as an administrator, athletic director, teacher and coach. He is currently an assistant principal at Sedro-Woolley High School where he oversees the special education department and is the safety coordinator for grades 7-12. Todd has previously worked in the La Conner School District as a teacher, athletic director, head football coach, head golf coach and assistant baseball coach. Todd also spent 5 years working in the Concrete School District. Todd is married to Paula, who teaches first grade in the Sedro-Woolley School District. Todd has three children, Terrel, Taylor, and Emma.
