    Upcoming events:
The Little Braves Club is a new after school program that opened in the fall of 2017.  The purpose of the after school program is to provide La Conner Elementary and Middle School students with a positive, safe, and fun place to be after school.  The program provides enrichment, extracurricular, academic, vocational, athletic, and community engagement opportunities to support the wellness and development of each student.
The After School program has seen tremendous growth since it opened.  In December our average daily attendance was 60 kids!  Our staff includes our Director, 2 para-educators, 2 Americorps, and 8 local volunteers.
100% of students participate in our Power Hour Program. We receive huge kudos from teachers for our ongoing commitment. We are focusing structured attention to students identified as needing additional support. The club is also utilizing Power Hour to emphasize phonics, letter, & number identification, etc in a small group setting for K-1 students.  Elementary staff compliment our strategies for success and have noticed improvement in homework completion.

We have a new series of Enrichment classes coming up:

o Zumba with Whitney Meissner Gr 4-6

o Golf with Mr. Perry Gr 4-6

o Drama starring Lauren Hippenstiel Gr 3-5

o Coding with Ryan Hiller Gr K-3

    o Gardening/Cooking with Rachel Sobzack Gr K-2

    o Gardening/Cooking with Rachel Sobzack Gr 3-5

o Create your own Comic Book with Ben Hansen Gr 4-6
