There are two special education teachers at the elementary school: Kerry Salaz serves kindergarten through 5th grade in a self-contained classroom, and Stacy Silver serves kindergarten through 5th grade in a resource room classroom. This model allows for increased communication between general education teachers and specialists, more focused instruction, and improved monitoring of student progress.Instruction is intensive, deliberate and delivered to students individually or in small groups depending upon educational needs.
