• This is the last week of school!!! Although this is not how we thought this year would end, I’m proud of our students and families who had a growth mindset and tried their best to learn in a very difficult time in our lives.

This week’s math packet is focusing on multiplication facts. If your child could memorize and have strategies for calculating these facts, the fourth grade teachers would be over the moon!

I encourage you to keep your child working on multiplication/division facts over the summer as well. Flash cards work, so do count-bys, and online games will all do the job.

This week’s reading packet focuses on “Comparing and Contrasting”. Below is a link to a video that does a good job of teaching this concept. I’ve also included a Venn Diagram so your child can compare and contrast two items of their choice!

All tech equipment borrowed from the school needs to be returned this week. We encourage you to come early in the week so that the lines are not too long and our team isn't overwhelmed on the last day! Monday, June 15 - Friday, June 19 from 10:00 - 2:00 and from 6:00 - 7:00 PM are the drop off times.

Last, I’ve included a note card and envelope for your child to write a letter to someone. If your child wants to write to me I’d love to hear from them. My address is:

    21096 Thillberg Lane

    Mount Vernon, Wa

A Good Bye Parade is being set up for this Friday, June 15th . Teachers will stand 6 feet apart near the school to wave and say “Hi” to our students before summer officially starts. Although we won’t be able to give hugs we will be able to wave and talk while you stay in your car. I hope to see you there from 12:00-2:00.

Our FINAL Zoom meeting is tomorrow, Tuesday 6/16 at 1:00. It will be with both classes.
