• It’s hard to believe that we only have a few weeks of school left. If your child is working on an online platforms they can continue using MobyMax, Raz Kids and Readworks. Friday’s packets are continuing to focus on graphing data. Once again, video mini-lessons are available on youtube. Go to:

    >Duane Habecker

    >Module 6

    >Grade 3

    >and the lesson you want to watch

In reading we are working on the “Cause and Effect” strategy. Below is a link to a video that does a good job of explaining this strategy. One of the articles in the packet is about the Statue of Liberty so I have included a step by step guide to drawing this famous statue.

As I prepare these packets I’m reflecting on the peaceful protests that occurred across our country last week. Here’s a great book to share with your child to encourage them to “Say Something” when they encounter injustices in our world. The link below is a reading of the book, “Say Something” by Peter Hamilton Reynolds.

As usual, the Scholastic News is just for fun as is a brief menu of activities your child might want to try for something different.
