• Dear Families,

I’d love to connect with each family at least once a week. You can respond to my Monday emails or I can try to connect by phone. My number is 360-708-3892 if you’d like to reach me or identify this number as mine when I call.

This week’s check-in is to encourage you to check out the COVID19 Learning From Home Resource Page on my page on the district’s website.  Each week I add new resources so it’s worth revisiting.

One of the new resources added is Scholastic Learning at Home site. It is very engaging and students work their way through activities week by week. I think they will love it.

A reminder about packets or pen and paper work, they were delivered last Friday and will get students through the month of April. New packets will be available for pick-up on Friday, May 1st. The district asks that you pick up packets between the hours of 10-2. If packets are left over they will try to be delivered but picking them up is the district’s preference. Once again, no packets need to be returned. Answers are included and we can talk about questions that come up by email or phone.

At the bottom of this page is a new program for 3rd-5th graders to participate in to help them master their math facts. It’s called, “May the facts be with you!”. More information on this program will be included in next Friday’s packets.

Ms. Erica, our 3rd Grade Educational Advocate hosts a Zoom meeting on Tuesdays at 1:00. Mrs. Malcomson and I are also on it and we are talking to kids and answering questions they might have. Here is the info for this zoom meeting:

This week I am scheduling a second Zoom meeting just for my class. It will be on Thursday at 3:00. Here is the info for that meeting:

I hope to see some of my kiddos at either or both of those meetings! Please take care. I think a lot of us are getting “isolation fatigue” especially on the sunnier days. I am so hoping this sacrifice will see all of us safe on the other side in fall. Enjoy this video from our LCES Staff! Take care-Mrs. B.La Conner Elementary Misses You!  May the Facts be with You!
