La Conner School District recognizes that students in foster care may experience mobility which would be detrimental to their academic progress.  In an attempt to eliminate these barriers to academic success and on-time graduation, La Conner schools will collaborate with state, local and/or tribal child welfare agencies  to minimize or eliminate educational barriers for students in out-of-home care.    Please direct your questions about supporting foster students to the district's foster care liaison, Andy Wheeler.   You can reach him through email or by phone at (360)466-3171.
