WELCOME TO ALL PRESCHOOL FAMILIES for the 2019-2020 SCHOOL YEAR!!!

The first day of Preschool is Monday, September 9, 2019. ~ Please remember our hours are for the AM Session 8:00-11:30 am; PM hours are 12:00 pm-3:30 Pm. Also, please remember to sign your child in and out at the front desk of the preschool a sign in sheet will be available.

All of us here at the Preschool have been working hard and planning to make this year the best school year ever for our youngest learners!! We have many exciting adventures planned for this year as we celebrate our community, our collective cultures, and our individual selves as we learn about this world we live in and gain the foundational skills that can help us navigate our way through it.

This year, in honor and respect to the wonderful tribal canoe journey to Puyallup this summer, our Center theme this year is “PULLING TOGETHER FOR OUR CHILDREN!” It takes a whole crew to make the canoe journey a success out on the waters. In this same way, ALL of US are the crew for each student as they start this portion of their educational journey. Families, staff, Administrators, facilities staff, all of us will be “Pulling Together” to ensure the maximum success through play and exploration! Let us come along side you and make this year’s educational voyage fun and exciting for each student.

Part of this new journey will be welcoming Kelly Gilkey as our new lead teacher for the second year (4-5 yr. old) pre-K class. While Ms. Kelly is new to this position, she is not new to our preschool. Kelly has been our Americorps volunteer for the past two years in our preschool classrooms! Please join us in welcoming Kelly to her new position!

On behalf of all our Preschool Teachers and Staff, WELCOME!! We are excited to cast off on this adventure with you this year! Let’s all “PULL TOGETHER FOR OUR CHILDREN” and have an awesome Journey!
