The 2017 levy approved by voters in 2016 is set to expire December 31, 2017.  The School Board of Directors will ask voters to continue to support the school district and approve a replacement levy on the ballot in February of 2017.

2017 Levy Information (Approved by voters 2016):  
A resolution to approve a proposal for one-year maintenance and operations levy of $995,000 was approved by the Board of Directors at the February 22, 2016 meeting.  This proposal comes after the original proposal failed on the February 9th election.  The Board has revised the original proposal to include cutting the technology levy and reducing the amount of the one year M&O levy. A signed resolution for this levy proposal was filed with the Skagit County Elections office on Friday, February 26, 2016.
The new levy proposal for one year of $995,000 will offer an estimated combined tax rate $4.98 per thousand, down from the 2015 rate of $6.57 per thousand.
