Flash Curriculum for family review
Washington State law requires that all schools provide a comprehensive family and sexual health curriculum to students in grade 5 through 12. Students should also receive age appropriate HIV/AIDS instruction annually, beginning in 5th grade. The links below will take you to a complete listing of the lessons recommended by OSPI. Lessons presented may change from year to year, but generally will include those listed.

Grades 4, 5 and 6, lessons: 1,3,5,6,11,15 or 16 or 17
Grades 7 and 8, lessons: 1,4,6,16,17,21 or 22 or 23
High School grade 9 lessons:3,9,10,11,12,20,21,22,23,29. Grade 10 lessons: 2,3,10,11,12,18 Grades 11 and 12 lessons based on: 12 a - d
Special Education lessons vary depending on class make-up and need of individual students. Families will receive specific information regarding lessons taught before the lessons begin.
